Forgotten Live in Death Paradise is a music project created in 2008 by Rafael Simmons in São Paulo, Brazil. Influenced specially by Nine Inch Nails, Frozen Silence, 65daysofstatic and God is an Astronaut the project was initially intended to be a form to transform stories on songs, but and as the project growth, it became a piece of personal experiences and feelings.
Rafael Simmons is the only member and already worked on other musical projects and local brazilian bands, but made Forgotten Live in Death Paradise his main and only musical project, as the others went on a hiatus or broken up.
The first song ever released under the FLiDP name was “One Way Ticket to the Paradise” (that later became the name of the project’s debut album) and Nara, that was released at myspace some months later showing a significant different style than the first song and then the project’s went on a long break. It returned with the debut album release at June, 2009 as a free download.” -TheSirensSound-
