Wow. This band came as a pleasant suprise for me. Perfect music for a rainy October morning. NY's Longitude play a great style of emo, indie rock and punk that brings to midwestern 90's emo bands such Braid and The Promise Ring mixed with modern bands who carry the torch for this genre of music. I'm glad bands are revisiting this style of music. The eleven songs on The Last Anniversary provide the listener with infectious melody, emotive lyrics, great guitar work, and leave the listener wanting more. Fans of Make Do And Mend, My Heart To Joy, Big Kids, and Transit take note.
