had to get in touch with them to get this LP to review it. Listening to it immediately brought two things to mind: Church of Misery, and Holy Shit this kicks some ASS!!!!!! If you dig really bluesy, groovy, down-tuned, “bust your balls with a Louisville slugger” style heavy hitting stoner doom, then look no further then these guys form Hagen, Germany. If the likes of Church of Misery, Cavity, 16, Weedeater, El Thule, etc. make you excited, then check this sucker out for sure. It has the right amount of blues riffs, southern boogie, gruff booze drenched vocals, and is just a hard-hitting riff fest over all. These guys are too good for me to just pass up mentioning, the link is at the bottom of the review, so check them out, it’ll only take about five minutes of your time, but you’ll be addicted I’m sure. This is essential, and I can rarely say that with absolute certainty. -Hellride / Janet Willis-

miniscent of Iron Monkey or Entombed meets Helmet. 'No Funeral' is their first proper release and is available now on 7inch from Young Lungs Ltd. dueños de locales de ensayo de Madrid.

ud had a large fanbase before they even released their debut LP due to the band's previous projects. Both releases received rave reviews.

-song collection that kicks off with the immediately catchy "Modern Men." From here, the album progresses down a warm path of poetic lyricism and the Southern sounds that have put Nashville on the map. "Devil Wind," recorded only with acoustic guitar and Goolsby's raspy vocals, stands out as an evocative creation. Tracks like "Do You Wrong" and "Bad News" are quickly characterized by demanding lead guitar divisions and driving bass lines. Young Lungs is clearly an album into which these guys poured a whole lot of heart.

release. If anything we've written so far deserves a single... it's Rufus.

Poland) and giving a twist to what had previously edited. Call it a mix between his most rabid old school hardcore from previous editions and bands such as To What End. Fast hardcore with members of Vitamin X and The Tangled Lines from Poland / Germany and with a nice and careful presentation.

Epitaph", and "For the Soul of the Savior" thrown in throughout. This main feature is just over an hour in running time, with about 30 minutes of bonus material tacked on. Most of the added extras are brief deleted scenes or uncut interviews with the band's friends and touring buddies (soundmen, roadies, merch dudes, etc.), adding more amusing anecdotes from tour and all that jazz. Then there's a 10-minute photo gallery from the band's entire world tour, as well as a shit-talking audio commentary added to the main feature. So overall you get about 90 minutes of content, and while not the greatest thing in the world, it's pretty entertaining - more so than a lot of the music DVD's I encounter, and definitely more so than it would've been if it was mostly live footage from various shows or whatever. Hell, I actually wish the damn thing was longer - you just can't go wrong with random backstage/tour footage. Seriously, for some reason no matter how mundane or silly that stuff is, it's just entertaining shit. This is a good one in the end, though. -Aversionline-
