Damn, this came as a pleasant surprise. Anion are a Vancouver, Canada based band who play a killer style of heavy posthardcore, doom, and sludge with hints of 90's Amrep style noise rock. The 7 songs on Manolette and Carrion King are reminiscent of bands such as Achilles, Breather Resist, Ken Mode, and Unsane. Overall, Anion are punishing, brutal, and heavy. Great stuff!
