I came across Coastal in a email request today. Coastal are a Harrisburg, PA based band who play a great style of emo and indie rock with influences ranging from Texas Is The Reason to early Get Up Kids. The five songs on Coastal's demo are upbeat, jangly and left me remembering why I started listening to underground music in the first place. Coastal are a talented and promising band. I can't wait to hear more. Definitely a must for fans of My Heart To Joy, late era Jawbreaker, and 90's style emo. I could definitely see this band being on Topshelf records. Great demo guys!
