Bastions are a relatively new UK based band who play a great style of modern hardcore and I've recently listened to their debut LP and decided to do this post. Bastions play a chunky, metallic, and at times dark style of music that owes credit to bands such as Give Up The Ghost, Ruiner, Touche Amore, and Defeater. After releasing two great EPs, Bastions turn things up a notch and deliver ten stellar songs on their debut LP. Fans of the above mentioned bands and newer UK acts such as Kerouac and End Reign need to give Bastions a listen. Overall, Hospital Corners makes for a great listen. Highly recommended. I also included the bands two other EPs Island Living and Kingdom Of Dogs for you to check out as well. Enjoy!
