First, off I have to admit, It's great to see a band with a sense of humor submit an album for review on the blog. Boatrocker is a Delaware based band who play a great style of music that has one foot firmly planted in the late 90's and early 2000's. It's great to hear a band still playing this style of music. Influences vary and range from early Grade, Boy Sets Fire, and Shift to more punk sounding bands such as As Friends Rust and Silent Majority. Add to this foundation modern elements of hardcore played by bands such as Defeater, All Teeth, and Former Thieves and you can start to see the direction Boatrocker is trying to go with their music. Great stuff that makes for a fun listen. Great stuff guys! Thanks for sharing!
