Here's another post I forgot to put up and I'm now just getting around to doing this review. Low Places are a California based band who play a great style of music that fuses elements of hardcore, punk, and powerviolence into a whiplash inducing album's worth of music. The nine songs on Low Places debut LP blaze by in an instant and leave the listener feeling pummeled, beaten and bruised. Low Places gives nods to bands such as Iron Lung, Napalm Death, and possibly old Coalesce updated and made current. Fans of Low Threat Profile, Get Destroyed, and Dead Language need to give these guys a listen.
