Sneeze are a great Boston, MA based band featuring former members of L'antietam and Genders. I was a huge fan of L'antietam, but haven't heard anything by Genders, so I have no idea what they sound like. With that aside, Sneeze sound nothing like L'antietam, so if you're expecting emotive screamo, you're out of luck. Sneeze play a great style of music that fuses elements of pop punk, grunge, garage rock and indie rock into a style of music that has fuzzed out guitars, great hooks and at times, gruff sounding vocals. People into 1994!, CSTVT, and Brain Worms will dig the vocals. I think the vocals work too and the band sort of reminds me of a poppier and less heavy version of Post Teens. The Eight songs on Grandma In The Trenches are short and leave you wanting more. Hopefully we'll hear more from Sneeze soon. Great stuff! Enjoy!
