Brickmower are a band hailing from New Brunswick, New Jersey. Brickmower plays a great style of music that incorporates elements of pop punk, garage rock, and indie rock into a cohesive style that updates the sound of 90's indie rock and emo. On Under The Sink, Brickmower gives a strong nod to bands such as Superchunk, Archers Of Loaf, and other bands playing 90's college/indie rock. Seriously, I wish more bands played this style of music because it's a refreshing change of pace from the current crop of emo where bands are currently biting hard on the sounds of bands like Polar Bear Club and Make Do And Mend. Don't get me wrong, I like the sound, but too many bands are currently aping this style of music and Brickmower provide a refreshing change of pace. Great stuff! Enjoy!
