Happy New Year. So it's 2012 and I'm psyched to have this be my first post for the year. Final Club are a Denton, Texas based band featuring members of Teenage Cool Kids and other area bands. Final Club play a great style of music that combines elements of punk, garage rock, and indie rock into cohesive sound that results in an amazing debut LP. Final Club retains the pop sensibilities of Teenage Cool Kids but adds the indie rock/garage sounds of bands such as early era Meneguar to their sound. Final Club also throws the swagger of bands such as Les Savy Fav, Marked Men, or Hot Snakes into the mix, which results in ten songs of music that can be garage, melodic punk, and rock all at once. Final Club are hard to pigeonhole, which is definitely a good thing in my opinion. I also included the band's Hot Gaze EP for you to check out as well. Enjoy!
